LAVA/ME

LAVE/ME is the equation of the soul, the identity of a conscience racked by the lees of passions, a lava-like, crystallised, sharp-edged, muted and severe "me". LAVA/ME is also an invitation to ablution of the soul, to cleanse oneself of impurities, of the detritus of interior lacerations. The canvasses are a reflection on the intimate, a gestural mantra that touches upon the ultimate dimension of self, on its cellular, infinitesimal atomic particles; a night whisper that relates of white and black, emptiness and its contours, the amorphous nature of self and lancinanting passions.

LAVA/ME è l’equazione dell’anima, l’identità di una coscienza dilaniata dal sedimento delle passioni, un “me” lavico, cristallizzato e spigoloso, smorzato e severo. LAVA/ME è , anche, l’invito all’abluzione dell’anima, l’invito a mondarsi dalle impurità, dai detriti delle lacerazioni interiori. Le tele sono una riflessione sull’intimità, un mantra materico che ripiega sulla dimensione ultima del sé, sulle sue particelle atomiche, cellulari e infinitesimali; un sussurro notturno che recita il bianco e il nero, il vuoto e i suoi contorni, l’amorfismo del sé e le passioni taglienti.
